Questions - Poem by Angela Henderson

How do we know what went on in the past?
How can we know the future?
How do we find out about pain and fear?
Who will be there to ask?
What can we do to relieve our sorrow?
How can we show it to the world?
Why should we worry if love is not around?
Who will be here tomorrow?
Why do questions keep appearing?
Why do they go on to torment us?
Should the news tell us about war and crimes?
Or is it the questions they are creating?
This is the story of life,
That nobody can explain for us,
We have looked to the past for answers,
While we await for the future to arrive.
