Queue For Love - Poem by Emily Wimetal
You're waiting in the line behind picture perfect beauty queens,
On the outsides what matters the insides never seen.
You're waiting for your turn wondering if it will ever come,
Maybe in a million years when the moon meets the sun.
You thought maybe you were lucky and you even wore a grin,
You thought maybe you had a chance; maybe this guy was a win.
Words just keep repeating in your head,
You have a feeling like you hit a dead end.
The world feels like it all tearing apart,
That's the way I'm feeling deep inside my heart! !
