R.I.P - Poem by Emily Wimetal
While tiny leaves fly to the ocean
While the cold breeze passes by
While the freezing river reaches the land
A little piece of my soul leaves my body behind
While the fishes swim in the deep ocean
While big birds fly down from the mounts
While the lion sleeps in the warmth of the dessert
A piece of my mind dies for you
While the world revolves around the sun
While the thunders explode inside the storm
My heart only works when I see you
But you say that you really have to go
And I really want to believe you I do
But this time I know I can't
While the clock won't stop clicking
While the clouds are crossing the sky
While the time goes and never comes back
In the inside I'm dying and I won't fight back
While sand keeps falling inside the clock
While the fire becomes just ashes and smoke
While we know that water is just h 2 o
You know that my eyes are just open for you
While I run out of paper while I'm writing this
While the ink in my pen becomes extinct
While I remember the cold of your hands in my skin
The last of my days I've passed writing this
