Rain - Poem by Alexander Francisco
While I sat near the fireplace
Listening to some music
I heard a crack in the air
And went outside to look
It was raining
Very hard, indeed
I then took a seat
And thought about the rain
Was the sky crying?
Was God crying?
If God was crying, who made him cry?
And if the sky was crying, what made it cry?
What if the clouds are crying?
If they're crying, who made them cry?
And what if heaven is crying?
If it's crying, what made it cry?
Oh, you say it's just the clouds?
It's all too confusing
I wish I knew more about the rain..
