Rain For Me - Poem by Amanda Long

Rain For Me

My soul still hurts
My heart will explode
Into oblivion
If I think of you one more time

I could cry it out
But then who cares?
The clouds will rain for me
Instead of living sad

So here I am
On the brink of everything
That is so beautiful
And still I have to be
Why do you have to be?

Can’t let me go
Still in your mind, so loud
I share in your dreams
Where are you in mine?

A kiss of love
On a sandy beach
That was so icy cold
You know you warmed my heart

So here I am
On the brink of everything
That is so ugly
And still you have to be
Why do I have to be?
