Random Rhymes - Poem by Gareth Simpson

Random Rhymes

i'm needing your help, im down on my kness
why cant you be helping me please
Life is shit and getting shitter
my heart is sweet but getting bitter

It's getting bitter all the time
i try to believe and accept no blame
so please help this heart of mine
teach me how to play this game

Many nights ive called to get no answer
though i see and hear things like be happy and preasant
but my brain is fighting this cancer
in soul, in spirit and in essence

But i can't allign the stars all on my own
im not that good a man
Pain and heartache is all ive sown
I need more perfect a plan

Ive been calling for the longest can't you hear me
34 years i have been falling
I need your wisdom ever so dearly
Coz right now im appaulling

on the inside im all fuzzy and warm
but for so long ive been riding the storm
the things ive been doing are not who i am
ive been getting angry but never at sam
i do my best to love him and care
and its not too much an effort to always be there
but these people they think im the scum
while on the inside ive bin feeling so numb
well this is for the fools and for the clever
you think your so good you think your so better
you cant know everything so care for your brother
in the skys are the heavans and the earth is our mother
so peace and love to all if thats what you crave
im fighting and striving not to slip into the grave
