Ravinder Soni - Poem by Dillip K Swain

Who is great Ravinder Soni?

I have read many of his poems
And put beautiful comments there!

I wonder how he can put
Bad remarks on me and my works?

I doubt, someone else
Might be doing it.

If he wants to tell me something
I would prefer his comments with signature!

Thanks and regards!

Dr. Swain, pl close the topic here itself, there is no need to write any further. Concentrate on writing poems and not situation based ones. Stay relaxed. Be happy. God bless you. (Report)Reply

Dear poet, we respect age and aged people but they should not command it in unfair ways. I know what is poetry and how a poem is written. Please ignore my situation based poems...You seem to be a gentleman..I will write to you elaborately a little later..regards (Report)Reply

Revive your interest in poetry, and do not direct your ire at me. From your writings of recent weeks, it is evident that you are under immense mental pressure for no valid reason, can you and I harm each other except fling dirt and filth at each other and lose our mental balance; the world will watch that drama to heart’s content and there will be no winner. What happened? No one cares or talks about Zauq anymore and Ghalib is the greatest Urdu poet. I am reminded of Josh Malihabadi, he had once said – “hum dhoond chuke humien milaa na allah//ab farz hai uska ke voh humko dhoonde.” We know contemporaries are the poorest judge. (Report)Reply

Even if I were to score points to become no.1 in Poemhunter it would mean little, the main thing is whether there will be someone to read and appreciate my writings a hundred years after I am dead and gone. Mirza Ghalib did not earn appreciation for his writings while alive and he used to complain about being ignored, which was the time the greatness of Ibrahim Zauq was loudly celebrated. (Report)Reply

In fact, I could not bear your continued search for a phantom figure in the course of which you made nearly 200 posts, earned points, and awarded points to yourself as you have done in this case too. You were ranting. A person who seeks praise should be ready to face critics and not be annoyed or angry. (Report)Reply

Swainji, in age you are twenty-six years junior to me though far more learned than I am. To know who I am you can read my brief biography. I do not miss reading what you write. Here, you called me ‘great’, if you have done so sincerely you have been unjust because I am not great but if you have said so in taunt then you are surely unjust. (Report)Reply
