Relentless Darkness - Poem by james jefferson ong
This darkness shines through my lifeless hollow existence,
and casts a shadow of sorrow on my ruptured soul.
Even my bleeding wounds cant be healed by your frailty.
Is it fate or grief that afflicts us severely?
Does our hopes and dreams enough to contain the pain?
Not even the awful truth can sedate my senses.
Maybe, it just numbs the pain until it fades away into oblivion.
The pouring emotions overwhelmed my state of mind.
Am I blessed or cursed to witness such reality?
Unfolding, unweaving before my very eyes.
Could the ambiance of death end this agony?
Left with nothing, but faded memories of despair...
