Remember - Poem by michelle johnson
As a thousand days and nights go by.
As a thousand leaves shrivel and fall.
Will we remember these happenings?
You? Me? no, none at all.
So many things we take for granted.
And pretending to be thankful by using words we don't mean.
But choosing to remember the memories that want to be planted.
That's the greatest honor one can achieve.
