Rememberance Poem by Sian Kyle

Rememberance

So even though you’re not here now
And you won’t be here again
I carve our names into the wall
And forget about the pain.
Remembering those long lost days
Of carefree happiness
Of summer smiles down by the pool
And trying to impress.
Of laughing, of love,
Of sadness or fear
I hope that you can see me now
As I shed one last tear.
Remembering those happy days
That now seem far away.
But smiling now and knowing
I’ll be there with you some day.
