Renovation - Poem by Owen Johnston
Bleaching the bloodstains away.
Room by room,
Tomb by tomb,
Lighting up my gloom
And scaring my monsters away.
No more regrets...
Time to pay my debts...
Time to place my bets
That I will succeed one day;
And when the night yields to day,
I re-enter the fray,
But there are still shades of gray,
And I pray God would light my way.
