Rest For A Bit - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My sweet darling I feel so tired
and I will rest for a bit.
Come lay down with me and
while we hold each other a big kiss
of love to give peace and wonderful comfort.
I'm going to rest for a bit my sweet
lady whom I adore to no end.
I'll be holding you tight and
tell you I love you as we slowly drift.
A bit of rest and I'm holding you close,
oh my sweet love you are the best.
