Rhetoric With Long Pauses - Poem by Mikael Ejdemyr

On Christmas Eve Annie dies from an overdose of loneliness
The houses touch each other slowly rocking back again
The earth bends down and sweeps the night with its hair
Two space probes are off into the unknown universe
Looking for human life 40 000 years from here
Where does the freeway lead in such a perspective
