Risperidone - Poem by Ross Hamel

they say it's over when I'm over
it doesn't mean that it's me
when hearing turns to screaming
presence is the essence of your existence
and I'm not sure with first time rhetorics

so move away before I stay
or pay the bouncer to stop me
the wrong way
with me,
like an elephant in the sea,
or better yet it's memory tied
without a shoestring

and when you're alone,
speaking with walls and atoned
come back to reflection in mirrors soul
make me whole, two parts of one of me
returned to whose control?
