Ritual Of Friendship Poem by Jacy Anderson

Ritual Of Friendship

The peaceful chatter,
ringing through night,
like the talk of the trees,
as the wind whistles by.

Engaged,
the guests were in their seperate conversations,
yet all of them entangled in the same meaning,
friendship.

Food being past around table,
filling everyone souls,
making the friendship stronger with every bite,
and as the night comes to an end,
everyone knows that their friendship
will last longer than the eternal sunshine and earth combined.
