River Of Blood - Poem by Emily Wimetal

She would cry out her emotions,
in a field of wilting hay
she would stare aimlessly at the sky
as her life passed another dying May,
so long it has been,
since she wept in the field of sorrow,
returning there again,
she will never see tomorrow,
she looks out at the long lost field,
that has flooded over years,
a dark and desolate place, she stares,
this only mounts her fears,
taking a plunge,
its the perfect suicide,
now the river turns to red,
charred with secrets and lies
the river of blood ingulfed her,
as she yearned for inner peace,
now her life has ended,
thugh the river of blood will never cease
