Rivulets

Course cohesively as Tigris and
Euphrates over your right collarbone
Ebb at the super sternal notch delta

These have fonts from the rhomboid
Etched here to the apogee of my love
And lust
A spark of deeper devotion
But now is not the time for sappiness
You wouldn't have it, anyway
You disliked my repartee

I take happiness whether you permit it
Or not, in these rivulets spewing subtle
Beauty
The mystery and enigma of swimming
Through these tributaries feeding Nile
Your enthralling Nile
My mouth foams, teeming with bile
My eyes well up
Because my relevance or irrelevance
Won't bastardize facts:
You are de facto
Yet I have numbed all sorrow re: us
And I have every right to still
Love you
And I will
Love you

Visualizing those rivulets
That have moved on
Like I let me
Like you, a monad
Let me be a nomad
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Monad, as the simplest unit of "God" deemed to have "perception and appetite" but which can never interact.
