Rock Pools Poem by james watkin

Rock Pools

Near where the turtle excavates
The sea itself comes to spawn.
Under the cliff's sheltering care
Of its overhanging brawn.

Ocean's shallow resemblances.
A wonder, in miniature.
Urchined, whelked, through sea grasses
Baby diver's hands lure.
