Roses - Poem by Megan McDowell
A rose can be purple,
it can even be black..
If you love me,
I promise to fal in love back..
Their stems can be short,
or their stems can be long..
If you hurt me first,
I will do you wrong..
The leaves could happen to be big,
or by chance even small..
If you put in the effort I deserve,
I will promise to give you my all..
Sending a girl roses makes her feel important,
makes her feel loved,
or even overjoyed
