Sailor Poem by New Beginnings

Sailor

'Twas but a look that started it all
A look of hunger and rebellious drawl
Then came the thirst for more and more
And soon did I find myself rampant and sore

Now that time has come and gone
And forbidden love is nearer done
Our passion ceases to exist
And we find ourselves no longer bliss

A farewell for now ends it all
The love, the lust no longer call
Yet but a memory you shall be
Thank you for desiring me
