Saving Her

Its February 15,2008
I got her
This small, bright colored dog
Her eyes are so big as she’s scared in her new home
I can see her eyes scanning the room
I pet her soft gentle fur
I pick her up
Only to fail at that,
I see she has stitches on her stomach
My friends sitting on the bed with me,
Adoring the presents of my new doggie,
She’s four
She’s awfully skinny
She sits scared, not knowing.
We got her this pink bed
I think she enjoys it
She nibbles on me like a small goldfish in a tank
So this day,
Ill never forget it.
