Scabies - Poem by Hannah Hampton

Last Tuesday
I found out about an epidemic
In my school
I didn’t know what scabies were
At the time
But now I know
They’re like body lice
And they’re really gross

I don’t really think it’s an epidemic
Because only one person has it
And he’s not contagious anymore
But there’s a big uproar
And a little chaos
Because everybody freaks out
When they hear the word
Scabies
