Sebastian Talley - Poem by Heather Vance

Time has passed and the wound remains the same
Open with heartache and feeling of loss
I sit and wonder who all I can blame
To take his life away like they’re the boss

There are still some times when I shed some tears
Times when I just sit and stare into space
Losing him was one of my greatest fears
Thinking of him as my heart starts to race

Thinking to myself: Why him and not me
Why couldn’t he be alive here today
So he would be able to look and see
How much I miss him and so I can say

Till the day we meet again I miss you
And I’ll never forget what we’ve been through
