Shaking Leaves Poem by Eddie Hanaback

Shaking Leaves

The leaves shake with rain drops falling from tips of the hands of trees.
The clouds weep and the world floods,
the bubbles of flowers in the sea of green swim
about in the chaos and scream like a siren in a hailstorm of cries.
When the clouds stop crying the trees dry.
Bubbles pop the flowers smile and spell out
the world can be cruel and unforgiving.
In the ending tho is it all worth it.
