She Dreams.... - Poem by megha mohan

A small child, in a crumpled frock
Stands on door of a house, beyond the rock.
With hazy eyes and tears down the cheek
She looks out for happiness, is timid and meek.

She looks out for the path smiles will arrive
With happiness, laughters and giggles ripe.
She dreams of her prince charming, galloping his way
to her heart.
She dreams of having handsful of stars shining
Twinkling as behind clouds they dart.

Then a cool breeze blows
Wiping off the frown from her brows.
She stands smiling, waiting for him
For she knows, the gallop of his horse will bring
all she wants,

Awesome poetry, true picturization of an adolescent mind,
She looks out for the path smiles will arrive
With happiness, laughters and giggles ripe.
She dreams of her prince charming, galloping his way
    to her heart.
She dreams of having handsful of stars shining
Twinkling as behind clouds they dart.
