Shining Star - Poem by Tamara Moir

First love is always pure
Not caused by looks or fame
Only with it comes a hope
That, that person feels the same
Even though saying I love you Is a hard thing to do
The hardest part is not hearing
Someone say I love you too
And though I feel the pain inside
Every minute of the day I know that someday it will end
But in my heart you'll stay
Until the day we meet again
May it be near or far
You'll be with me till my days are through
My love, my shining star
