Short And Inbetween - Poem by Adam Leonard

Many people may say
life is short
do they know endless nights
that are filled with emptiness?
what life do you live
whether short or long
how do you love those endless nights?
are they unfulfilled
or maybe you embrace them
allow yourself to feel emptiness
how do you love with a short life?
life is short
why do we regulate our selves?
do you stop love
maybe your scared
define love in such a short life
many say that love is forever
