Sick - Poem by Johnathan Todd

I wake up in the morning and I get my ass dressed, trying to relieve the day before stress, Pictures of you girl, they flashin in my head, I swear on my life, you're the reason I left my bed, You my red bull, always get me energized, got me caught in a daze, you got me hypnotized, paralyzed, baby I can't move, and I don't want to live this life if it's without you, You must be an angel, sent down from above, cause all I wanna do is show you how to love

Sick to my stomach, I don't want you to go, I've got so many secrets that I want you to know, I never open up, I'm sealed like a letter, read me like you need me and I promise I'll do better, better than you know, better than you think, watch me do it right but you'll miss it if you blink, tired of this game, but you're glued to my mind, I know I've got some history but I'll leave it all behind, watch it blow away, I could leave it in the dust, I'll take you to the moon if you just show me a little trust

Lost in the sound, in the love I'm found, bound to be a prince, cuz I aint seen ya since, the day that we parted, I felt like it was started, guess you can't blame me for the land was uncharted, I tried to plant the flag on something I never had, I guess we can agree that it was really just my bad, I'm trying to apologize, I know I was in the wrong, but baby all these feeling are a little too strong, I'm starting to feel weak like I'm drowning in the creek, tryin to climb my way from the bottom to the peak
