*sigh* Poem by M McParland

*sigh*

*Sigh* where are you today?
I still can't sleep my heart still sunken in hurt.
I wish we could at least pass the time talking.
Sharing our great conversations.
Silly and fun,
informative and revealing,
learning so much about the other one.
Or just radical thoughts and dreams,
laughing and crying all the while time flying.

*Sigh* it would be even better though
if you were right here.
Read to each other,
watch some movies and TV.
I would cook for you
and together we would clean.
Smiling and laughing
kissing each other too.
This would be bliss
my happiest dreams spent with you.

*Sigh* to just lay in bed
and hold the other tight.
Perhaps even out on the lawn
staring at the stars.
Whispering our loves needs
and intentions of our future as companions.
Drifting off in comfort our souls fully soothed,
knowing each one is right there,
never leaving healing the wounds that are there.

*Sigh* yet for now I sit here all by myself,
waiting for sleep
only dreaming of those beautiful days.
Can you feel all those dreams and endless love too?

*sigh*
