Wonderful imagery. I can hear your sparrows singing Psalms on the bare branches.
Your beautiful poem delights my autumn soul. Thank you, Theodora.

My sister in law, trisha, Passed away, last october 13,2006. It was on a friday and the day was not as glorious as this year. Seeing the beauty, and having temps from 67 -80, but with the colours, just made me feel they were heaven touched, and that maybe she had something to do with it, as while on earth she was an angel. She was 59. Died of metastisized cancer, that caused so much suffering! But she is at peace now with our creator, and looking down, one year to the day, at the beauty of autumn!
Thank you for reading my work!
Blessings and love, xxxxooo

Oh your sister Trisha is well loved by you and most fortunate for this is a beauty. We've more or less missed Fall here in my part of Ct. Was 87 Monday and the last three days cooler, no sweater needed as sun still warm during the day and no heat needed yet, thank goodness as a/c was still running through Monday.. Some trees turned a beautiful red, no yellows at all and most stayed green as they fell to the ground on Thrusday night, our first rain since August which I guess explains the trees along with the fact that summer lasted into October. So, I've said all this not to give a local weather report but rather to express my gratitude to be able to live it through this beautiful poem which describes Autumn has it's meant to be...Around here Spring and Fall seem to not arrive here the last few years. love, marci.xo (Report)Reply
