Silent Lover - Poem by Richard Steinmueller

I’m not asking for your hand,
I’ve already got two.
If speaking is too much to bear,
I’ll keep it down for you.

I’m a quiet lover,
In my own mind I reside.

A poetic injustice,
A love going unseen again.
I’ve always been a quiet lover,
Flowing silently through this pen.
