Single But Not Lonely - Poem by shamal varadkar
I love you and dare you deny,
As faithful, humble & caring am I.
You are my world, in which I survive
No hope, no ambitions but still I wish to re-live.
Rising sun comes with a simple blessing
That you are holding my hand
Even though I have nothing.
Feeding you with something,
That even I haven’t tasted before
Promising you a future,
Which even I am not sure.
Dressing ourselves every morning and wishing to be happy
But aware of the truth how lonely are we
Pain will blossom and make us smile one day
In this ordeal, atleast I could have a place in your heart on my way
I am your father and you are my child
We love each other and the world cannot deny it.
