Velvet Astraea Dido

Snowblind - Poem by Velvet Astraea Dido

the dark side of me still lingers
and the paranoia never stops
burried this soul
to dead flowers
and monochrome rainbows
fire-glazed lies.

but endless wishes has brought
the light outside the window
to open these tired eyes,
but i am still inside
i am still unalive

kiss the darkness goodbye
wrap my arms to incessant desires
and i cut off myself
to boundless bridges
and ropes off my hand-held eyes

light is too bright
i can't hardly see
impossible maybes
swept off my grief

but will it last
will it continue to be
sunburst and snowblind
sunburst and snowblind
and snowblind
