Socks In Love Poem by jodi right

Socks In Love

Each day I think about you
As we come together as two
You were missing the other
Until I became your lover
We were both on our own
Feeling so alone
You were red and I were blue
Though odd, it was true
That we were meant to be
It was simply plain to see
Together we became a pair
One born from womanswear
And the other from menswear
Like Romeo and Juliet
We joined to make our duet
This little song that an’t so long
About a couple of socks
Still together and holding strong
