Something That Doesn'T Rhyme... - Poem by Madison Riley

Such a foolish girl
He hurts you
Emotions unfurl
He uses you

Your mind whirls
He holds you
Your heart soars
He touches you

You feel like his whore
He refuses to stop…
Pressing on
Though you cry

Resisting your brush offs
No matter how hard you try
You ask yourself if he lies.
He is not who he says.

He speaks all the right words,
But where is his heart?
He wants to be close,
You need to be apart.

He is not the one you love
Just a mirror image of.
