Sonnet: Records - Poem by Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,

Records are meant to be broken on earth,
By newer generations of humans;
Nothing is constant: not even our birth;
Let us then live with exultation sans.

Records are set in diff’ring conditions;
Techniques too matter a lot anytime;
Just as how books come in new editions,
Records get humbled by men more sublime.

Greatest are the feats of those pioneers,
Who scaled the mountain-peaks on their bare-feet!
Records get broken by men without fears,
Trudging on the sands of Time, on their own beat.

Records are ones all inconstant on earth;
Newer ones get created without dearth.
