Weeping Willow

Speak To The Winds - Poem by Weeping Willow

Sometimes I feel
I'm speaking to the winds
Dark clouds cover me
I'm holding to his shield
A silver light shines on the rim
of each cloud

When I can't see
or feel

Another night, another
sigh
Every teardrop in my eyes

My darkness turns inside out
Reflecting light
God is watching over my life
Changing my darkness
into light
Slowly turning dark clouds
that weigh upon my soul

Sending them into the winds

I feel nothing at the time
Though clouds slowly shift
Leaving a breeze upon my soul

For god has blessed my life
in more ways than I can count
Still this darkness continues
to run across my soul

Leaving many black holes

In my determination
to follow Christ
I speak to the winds
For there I'm never alone
Whispers from heaven fall
through the storms

Speaking to the winds
I follow the path home.
