Sphinx Tattoo Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Sphinx Tattoo

Rating: 5.0

Entrancing and pale
Like the autumn moonlight,
The young girl with blue October eyes
Dances in the sidewalk leaves
Offering inspiration
To furtive midnight deities.

After a sudden explosion of love,
She will float butterfly-like
To a downtown apartment terrace
To reveal her soul and Sphinx tattoo
To a perplexed but efficacious lover.
