A perfect creation
Knit between branch and oak leaf
Of glistening silken line
Catching light
Pure testimony, this ancient wisdom
Living locket
Dangled from a strand of pearl
The nape of the universe
Holds this precious life
Jewel
In wait for the unwary
Sweet kiss and beautiful death.
