Springstein, Diapers & Wine Poem by John Ackerman

Springstein, Diapers & Wine

later on in the village their were aristocrats and thinkers
junkies, flunkies & hippies
the poetry added to the mood
a cosmic tapestry
the pool of Springstein on the main stream
falling
ever falling
a mother changes her baby's diapers
let the music sooth you for real
Wine with a block of cheese
falling to your knees
spreading its disease
singing "Sandy girl" down by the beach
the sweetness of her wine
shades of Pine
created from a grand design
everything is quite fine
sipping on Cherry wine
