Standing On Your Head. - Poem by Slava Olchevski
Feeling gloomy, feeling sad?
Try to handstand on your head!
With your feet up in the air
You will no longer care
About the world and its complications
Troubles, problems and hesitations
When feet are up and head is down
You will become a happy clown
With happy smile and bulging eyes
No longer normal, rather wise
Like tree that’s waving in the breeze
And never breaks… So, tell me, please
Why do you have to spend your life
With disregard for inner strife?
The yogis call it shirshasana
It helps them to achieve nirvana
Humans are the only creatures
That possesses the certain features
That allow without dread
To handstand on our head!
