Still Crying - Poem by Rani Qureshi

I'm sat here, all alone and free from it all

the Torture, Pain, and Lies are all over now

Tears falling down my face

leaving my eyes burning, yet no sign of stopping

its got to stop soon, i cant go on like this,

but its easy to say, almost impossible to do

its silly i know to still sit and cry

I'm sat here all alone and free from it all

the Torture, Pain, and Lies are all over now

So why does it feel so real again

the wounds so fresh and raw

the web of lies still spinning away

I cant switch it off, however hard i try

Im sat here all alone and free from it all

the Torture, Pain, and Lies are all over now

I didnt want this, never asked for it

i gave him my all

mind, body and soul

so why,9 years on am i sat here all alone

with tears falling down my face

yet knowing................

The Torture, Pain, and Lies are all over now! ! ! ! !
