Stolen Kiss - Poem by Hermanus Hendrik Janse van Vuuren
Between stolen kiss and stolen verse,
A stolen kiss is the worst!
A stolen verse can be given to truth.
Whilst a stolen kiss leaves no proof.
Tall tales and hear say, are heard about both,
Though the stolen kiss keeps itself aloft.
Shouting innocence and pure intent.
Though sometimes a hind of cruel repent.
Though which ever is found to be the reason,
Behind this theft and unthinkable treason,
The kiss I stole from you tonight
Will haunt my dreams every night.
