Straight And Fast - Poem by ZoeLeigh Vaughan
She always said there was only one way to go,
Straight and fast she use to say.
They found her in a car wreck,
Said she didn't ever break or swerve.
Straight down the middle doing 220 k.
Straight and fast that was her way.
She never did anything by halves,
Never like to do things slow,
She was always straight to the point, always fast.
But she was caught in a labyrinth,
Looking for a way-out,
Living on false hopes,
Kidding herself to death.
Her thoughts were eradicate,
Her actions just the same,
No-one could tame this girl,
And she left on her own terms.
Straight and fast,
Right down the middle.
