Structural Integrity - Poem by Matthew Sharp

comes to mind leads to violence one big noise then its silence was worth it perfectly destroyed by the pleasure of toys under the bed and skeletons in the closet wish i could pause it and forget to be playing hands speak it better than just saying it gets in the way that you are now i struggle to find how to have the strength and integrity you beg of me i listened see? i wondered through the sea and came back clean with no debris sticking to me you didnt see in your busy schedule erase my name heroin and cocaine stain the book if you take a closer look at the pages we tore away in the blasting breeze of time you call it yours i call it mine to fix a crooked spine you need a magnificent spline undermining the structural integrity as the cookie crumbles i run out of milk.....
