Summer Holidays - Poem by Rohan Saxena

Best time of the year
Is when summer break is near
Planning the family’s trip
Makes daddy’s pocket rip

Holidays are for fun
Bringing joys for everyone
Climbing the cliffs, enjoying the sails
To get a glimpse of the majestic whales

Some stay in their homes,
While others visit those beautiful domes
It doesn’t matter where you go
Though, It’s no harm to enjoy the lovely snow

The children hold their mothers hand
While others choose to frolic in the sand
In countryside so fresh and green
Some paddle up and down the stream

Enjoy the sun, enjoy the rain
But don’t try to refrain
And treasure all the hours together
Because they never last forever
