Sunny Afternoon Dreams - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A bright sunny day so beautiful
in so many ways,
a nice breeze is steadily blowing
keeping the humidity at bay.
Such a wonderful day to sit
in the shade and have beautiful dreams.
Think of the Angel I love in every way,
send a prayer and sweet kisses her way.
Hope she knows that I love her
and care in every way.
So many dreams and so many truths,
so many things to share with you,
a sunny afternoon dreaming
of what I hope and know our future could bring.
Praying you know that I'm always here,
that you will always have faith that I'm by your side.
Dreaming of you making me smile.
A sunny afternoon I long to be holding you,
to share this sweet scene with my precious Queen.
Sunny afternoon dreams of my Angel Queen
sending my love and feeling yours strong and clean,
I remember the good times
and dream of those that will be new.
I dream of my lady and Kira that's you.
I long for that future and wait for you,
so we can spend every sunny afternoon living our dream.
