Sweet Lazy Afternoon Kisses - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Sweet lazy afternoon kisses to you my sweet dear
with a great big warm hug of pure love as well.
Sweet kisses on this tired and lazy afternoon
where I just wish before my long trip
I could snuggle with you resting up
to forget and let all this stress go up in smoke.
Sweet lazy afternoon kisses with a big hug
of pure loving warmth to you my sweet Angel dove.

I would love to sit with you just relaxing
and resting on this lazy afternoon holding you close
and giving you kisses straight from my heart,
a lazy afternoon to just sit and talk
as I can't watch the T.V here right here at this time.
A lazy afternoon though where we could just
read from our book as well as our poetry
to each other in peace feeling happily content.
I want a lazy afternoon with my darling
who is my beautiful and amazing best friend.

I want to be with you relaxing on this lazy
and very tired afternoon forgetting the stresses
that surround us in this very life.
I miss my sweet lady and want you
to no longer be angry because my heart is
so filled with tenderness for you darling.
God bless you and keep you forever and ever
and remember I'm always right there beside you.
I love you sweet Kira and want to be with you
through all eternity as immortal partners.
Right now though sweet lady I wish you were
here with me enjoying this afternoon so tired and lazy
because I love you so deeply and want you
with me everyday that we are living now
and through the next life we will be sharing.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I'm tired sweet Kira and stressing over the trip tomorrow. Cost me a ton of money for baggage and will take most of the day. I'm gonna try to buy the internet service on the plane so I can write you though. I love you mega tons sweet lady Kira. ILYF
