    I liked this poem a lot... but you absolutely can't call it a sonnet. A sonnet is a traditional poem form with 14 verses grouped in two quatrains and two tercets, in the case of the Italian type, or three quatrains and a couplet (or just one stanza) , in the case of the English type. Your poem does have the couplet, but there are two extra quatrains there, so it doesn't technically qualify as a sonnet. (Report)Reply
