Sweet Saturday Afternoon Kisses - Poem by Michael P. McParland
As I rise from a Saturday afternoon nap
my first thoughts are of you and a sweet kiss.
I send all my love and warmth within my heart to you
with endless smiles to give you peace within your heart.
I'll be thinking of you as I watch the game
and will be wishing you were here to watch It with me.
I just want to be with you spending time
with my Angel in my arms.
I send sweet Saturday kisses in the afternoon
to sweet wonderful, beautiful you.
So as I rose from a rest I needed much
my first though was of my love and how I care so much,
I wish I could sit with you and heal our aching hearts
but remember I am there with you and will never ever part.
You are the Angel whom I give myself in full,
I know our time will come and I'll just hold you all the time.
We will watch the games together and do so much more as one
I love you my precious Kira and I send you kisses in bunches
of a million and one.
